The Lycée Michel-Rodange in Luxembourg-City hosted a students and teachers conference on the topic Migration.

Der Workshop Drama hatte auf der einen Seite das Ziel bei der Abschlusszeremonie eine selbstkreierte Performance an den Tag zu bringen, sowie die Teilnehmer als Gruppe zusammmen zuschweißen. Durch unsere Gruppenübungen hat das wirklich gut funktioniert. Es ging dabei vorallem um Vertrauen, die Scheu zu nehmen und und sich kennen zu Lernen. Das führte dazu, dass wir nun immer noch alle in Kontakt stehen und uns gut verstehen. Die Schule hat eine TV-Klasse die ein Video davon gemacht hat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2gXuntJN7w
Europe On The Move ist ein Projekt wo sich Schüler aus
ganz Europa und dieses Mal auch Gäste aus Indien sich treffen und
über ein Thema kreative Workshops besuchen. Dieses Jahr gab es rund
um das Thema Migration einen Bodypainting-, einen Literature-, einen
Social Science- und einen Drama-Workshop. Jedes Jahr treffen sich die 19 Partnerschulen von 18 verschiedenen Ländern. Ich hatte die Ehre dieses Jahr in Luxemburg dabei zu sein. Das Thema dieses Treffens war Immigration.
Es gab vier verschiedene Workshops: Social Science, Body Painting, Drama und Literature.
Ich war in dem Workshop Social Science, der sich mit der Migrationsbewegung (Prozentsatz und Herkunft der Immigranten), der einzelnen Länder beschäftigt.
Am Ersten Tag des Workshops haben wir uns die Videos (die 1-2 Monate davor eingeschickt werden mussten) der Schulen angeschaut. Natürlich gab es dann nach jedem Video eine kleine Diskussionsrunde.
Am Zweiten Tag bildeten wir kleine Gruppen, von denen jede ein eigenes Thema hatte und daraufhin diskutierten wir über dieses bestimmte Thema. Nach einer gewissen Vorbereitungszeit sind wir in einen großen Saal gegangen. Der Raum war mit vielen Kameras und Scheinwerfern ausgestattet, in der Mitte war eine Bühne aufgebaut. Wofür das alles? Für einen Live Stream, wir mussten in den kleinen Gruppen eine Diskussion führen vor zirka 100 Leuten. Es war nicht einfach, ich persönlich war sehr aufgeregt und nervös.
Am dritten Tag haben wir eine Art „Rap“ über das Thema Immigration gelernt und geübt. Diesen haben wir dann bei der Abschieds-Zeremonie vorgeführt.

'At the workshop Literature we dealt with poems written about migration, home and mixing cultures. We analyzed poems that had been chosen by a student from each country and some that our teachers and coordinators Ms. Vicky Termes and Mr. Michel Dohn had prepared. We discussed the themes of the poems and related them to the situation in each of our countries.
After having thought about the literature, we created the 'Young Poets Society' and wrote our own poem about the past, the present and our thoughts on the future of Europe.
It was presented at the final ceremony.'

• Masterclass: ‘Technological innovation in the Brainport
Region

The Brainport region is the most innovative region of the Netherlands and one of the three strongest regions of the Netherlands well known for high tech systems, food & technology, automotive, lifetec & health, design
•Exploring the factors behind the success of the Brainport Region.
•What is innovation and how can innovation be stimulated and ‘managed’?Visiting innovative companies (Philips, ASML, DAF…)
•Carrying out assignments and business cases
•Interacting with young international professionals who work in the
Brainport Region. The idea is that students work with young international
professionals who work in the Brainport region.

• EIS: Entrepreneurship in School
Organised by: Bagsværd Kostskole og Gymnasium
Denmark 7-11 November 2014
The Bagsvaerd Kostkole og Gymnasium in Denmark will host the autumn conference for the network “Education Without Frontiers”.
The topic deals with "Entrepreneurship in School" and the principals, teachers and two students per partner-school are also invited. For the students the goal is to practise how to develop an idea and help them to learn how to make plans that can help make the ideas turn into reality. Headteachers, correspondents and teachers will share best practices, discuss how to teach, recognize and promote entrepreneurship in students, and hopefully to learn how to use the network to enchance our own entrepreneurship – especially in the light of the new Erasmus+ program. Furthermore decisions concerning the future of the network will be discussed and taken.
• A masterclass on game programming will take place in Jyväskylä in Finland from the 24th until the 26th of November 2014. The title of this masterclass is "Creative Computational Thinking Through Game Programming". The BRG Wien 19 is not going to participate.
• Masterclass ‘biology, chemistry and physics’ in Vienna organised by BRG 19 in spring 2015
• Project meeting in Zaragoza, Spain in May 2015
